The brainchild of pianist and composer Ara Sarkissian, MUSANER has been active on the Boston music scene since 2007. Since that time, the group's original blend of jazz orchestration and folk music from Armenia has been greeted with acclaim from critics and audiences alike.
Tonight's concert is a celebration of both the 5th anniversary of MUSANER and the upcoming release of their second recording. The program will feature new pieces along with their 5-year old "classics".
