Led by founder and primary composer Russ Gershon, the E/O’s odyssey has taken the ten-piece band through jazz from swing to bop to electric and on thrilling forays into Ethiopian jazz and Latin music. When they count off a tune, you’re never quite sure where the Orchestra will take you, but you can be sure it will groove, feature rich orchestrations and unleash sizzling soloists.
