An international award-winning pianist and composer equally versed both in classical music and jazz, Yakir Arbib is a four-time winner of the America-Israel Cultural Foundation for young talents (2006-2009), and also winner of the "Massimo Urbani International Jazz Award" (2008). He was signed at age 19 by the European "Philology Jazz Records" label (Chet Baker, Lee Konitz and Phil Woods) under which he released his first album, a trio record called "Portrait".

In July 2015 he won Second Prize at the Montreux International Piano Jazz Competition, and was declared as "the most extremely original pianist" by the jury, resulting in an invitation to perform with internationally renowned musicians Al Jarreau, Nils Petter Molvaer and Kurt Rosenwinkel.

Arbib tours the world as a composer-pianist giving recitals of completely improvised compositions on the spot (often on themes suggested by his audiences), as well as pre-written works, and is often commissioned by ensembles for new compositions both with and without the piano.

Roberto Giaquinto was awarded a scholarship in 2009 to attend Berklee College of Music and is currently pursuing a degree in jazz performance, and after he moved to Boston in 2010, he was selected to be a part of the Berklee Global Jazz Institute, founded and led by Artistic Director and world-renowned pianist, Danilo Pérez.

Roberto has performed at Blue Note NY, Birdland Jazz Club, Detroit Jazz Festival, Beantown Jazz Festival, Kimmel Center, Toronto Jazz Festival, Jazz en Comminges, Panama Jazz Festival, JEN New Orleans, Boston Music Awards, Kennedy Center, Regatta Bar, the Nancy Jazz Festival and more. He's played with Joe Lovano, Danilo Pérez, John Patitucci, George Garzone, Julian Lage, Dayna Stephens, Chris Cheek, Donny McCaslin, Gilad Hekselman, Troy Roberts, Dave Santoro, Jim Odgren and many more. He has toured all over the States, Canada and in Europe (France, Italy, Germany, Austria, Spain, Ireland, Georgia). He is part of new bands led by young talented musician like Christian Li, Mike Bono, Adison Evans, David Neves, Matthew Halpin, Kenji Herbert, Daniel Rotem, Albino Mbie.

In addition to co-leading this acclaimed duo with award winning-pianist Yakir Arbib, he also composes music for his own project, "The Roberto Giaquinto Group".
