MASS TANGO celebrates the magic and spirit of the streets in Buenos Aires. Music and dance blend together recreating the unique atmosphere of a city where tango is a way of life.

Mass Tango was founded by Bernardo Monk and wife Fernanda Cajide in Boston, MA in 2002. This Argentinean couple moved to the United States in 2001 after more than ten years of professional career in their home country.

Combining music and dance on stage, Mass Tango approaches tango in its traditional forms and styles. Originals and famous tangos in instrumental and sung versions are part of the repertoire of this group, which includes tangos popularized by Carlos Gardel as well as the world famous La Cumparsita, El Choclo, and celebrated tangos, waltzes, and milongas from the 40's and 50's, the golden eras of tango.

For those who love this magic genre, Mass Tango is a musical and imaginary trip to Buenas Aires that should not be missed.
